Weekend Reads Presents: Halloween is Almost Here!

I LOVE Halloween. I love everything about Halloween. I love trick or treating, the candy, the games, the fun, the food, but most of all, I love scary books. That does not mean I like bloody books. I can do without the slasher stuff, but everything else has its place in my home.

I own DVDs of every 1950 on up true horror flick. That means I don't do Freddie though he was/is a horrible person/character. I like horror horror.  Anyone who follows my blogs, or even reads them once in a great while, knows my most favorite book of all time is, The Haunting. I won't put in a buy link until I feature the novel next month.

I adore Stephen King and Peter Straub. Right now I'm in the middle of re-reading The Talisman. This is probably my third go round with it, and I'm enjoying it as much as the first.  This time, I've had to trade in my chocolate binging and reading for yogurt binging and reading. Somehow, that's not as much fun.

I get to announce today a prequel sequel novella coming out called Shadowland. It will be published through Crescent Moon Press and as soon as I have a release date, I'll let you know.
