 I don't normally host make money books or how to build a website, but with unemployment still up and people around me in pain, when Kitty Bullard at The Tide Breaker Blog Tour and Great Minds Think Aloud asked me to host Mike Omar's two books on how to make money on the Internet and how to built a website, I said yes. Mike is young, smart, and very talented as you can see from his interview below. I haven't read the books mind you, so I can't verify if Mike's technique works. Hi Mike, thanks for being on my blog today. What inspired you to write “HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE: Learn how to make money from home with my step-by-step plan to build a $5000 per month passive income website portfolio”? It took me years to develop enough passive income to make a living off of it, but once I did, I was excited to share what I had learned with the world. Because sharing what I know doesn't really create any competition for me (the Internet is ENDLESS!), I have no issue sharing everything I've learned along the way. Receiving emails from people who have started making significant money from home using my methods has been incredibly gratifying. I got a lot of help along the way from several different bloggers, but all the information was disorganized and I had no clear direction – just a lot of throwing darts in the dark and learning from experience. It's actually a fantastic way to truly learn this business, but it is also very discouraging (especially since this business is slow to grow at the beginning). I was determined, however, and so I found a way. My ebook is a very specific action plan to start building a passive income website portfolio – no room for confusion or error! Also, my ebook was written with a complete beginner in mind: no experience in web design, business, or anything else is required. I would absolutely recommend everyone try their hand at the methods I describe in this book. Don’t give away any secrets, but what’s your book about? My book is about how to make money online. By the way, it is NOT EVEN CLOSE to a “get rich quick scheme.” The blunt truth is the method I describe for making money online takes a lot of work. However, it does work, and once you have it going, it becomes easier to grow, and is completely passive (you can stop for as long as you want and your income levels won't drop). How long did the book take to write? The actual writing of this ebook took only a couple of months of daily work, but years of experience went into mastering the business behind making money online. It essentially boils down to doing keyword research (figuring out what keywords people are searching for the most in Google), finding out which of those keywords are easily rankable in Google through competition analysis, and then making websites designed to rank specifically for those keywords in Google through SEO (search engine optimization). Then once those websites are getting good traffic, you put your advertisements or affiliate products on your website to make passive income. That's it! Do you have a day job?
