Aggie and Bella were ready to go. First we needed money. Then we started driving and sight-seeing. We went to the North Yuba river. Then we visited Downieville. Then we decided to check our map. But there wasn't any Internet service so we just kept driving. Aggie didn't care. Bella didn't care. I didn't mind. Dennis minded. By the time we received Internet service we were dropping onto 395 and heading into Reno. Once we get there we are going home to buy a map and to start the day over again tomorrow. The beauty of our driving vacations is that doing things like that is always an option.
The dogs had a great time. They had plenty of food and water and we made numerous stops. Bella swam in a high mountain lake while Aggie patiently watched. Both dogs peed all over Northern California. As I contemplated our return home, I came to realize that for two dogs on vacation, what better time could be had? Comments are closed.
