Quips and Quotes--Life in a Nutshell

Tomorrow I get to release the cover of The Light and the Flame, book II in the Gemini series. For those of you who asked why it took so long, the only answer I can give is I wrote 2.5 books in between. I love this series as it address and examines different realities much like A Shadow of Time.  Throw in some conflict and a little romance and it makes for a fine story.

Curve balls

Sometimes, life throws curve balls. I"d never had a martini before. Because I have Crohn's disease I stay away from alcohol. But, last night, I was introduced to the famous drink. One was all it took to put me on the floor. I had no IDEA it was such a strong drink. If I ever get the urge to imbibe, beer is my choice. It's easy to digest, tastes good, and I find it thirst-quenching. Not so for the lovely martini.

Innocent Blood

Edits have been started on Innocent Blood which is an entirely different type of book that has nothing to do with the apocalypse.  I do think you will enjoy a fictional look at society, the rule of law, and the breakdown of the family.
