I spent a lot of time thinking about this post. I wondered if I should tell people I'm Christian. Most of the people I know think Christianity is for the uneducated illiterate masses. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I go to church on Sunday, well, most Sundays. I celebrate Christmas and Easter. I believe Jesus died for me and rose on the third day. I know, I know. That's impossible. Well tell that to a quark. The building blocks of our reality are these little dabs of something we can't see, but we can see the result of their action. In fact, just someone looking at them will change their nature. They are our reality, a reality that is only apparent to us when we look at it. If we are not looking, these little building blocks surge to and fro like a wave, carrying every probability and possibility you can think of into the future. It only becomes real when you look at it. Delve into a little theoretical physics. It will blow your mind. I figure if these little building blocks can do that, they'd have no problem recreating a human being if told to do so by intelligent design, or God, or All That Is, or whatever you choose to call It. Really, it's nothing compared to what goes on in the unseen world of physics. In addition, I've seen miracles in life. Lots of them. Some so miraculous that if I told you about them you wouldn't believe me. But that's OK, they were my messages and I received them. If you want yours you have to ask.If you don't ask the question, you will never get an answer. Kinda like looking at reality. You have to look to see and to get the information you have to ask the right question. If you dare, that is. I thought I'd write down my Christmas prayers. They are simple prayers that come from my heart. I pray for every soldier to be home with their family. I pray for everyone who has lost someone that they be comforted. I pray for no more war. I pray for real healthcare for everyone. I hate hearing from Crohn's patients that they have no insurance. They suffer so. And it's not like they can afford the deductible either. I pray not one more child will be hurt in this universe. I pray that each person would find someone to love who loves them back. And I don't care what genitalia they have. I pray that people would stop judging others. It is not their job. But it is our job to hold ourselves to higher standards. We must be examples to the generations that follow. Honor and duty must come before self-indulgence. I pray for the deliverance of this world. I have more prayers, but you get my gist. We are broken people in a broken world and I know of no other people who need deliverance more than we do. Christianity, apart from those groups that have humanized the belief, think the Crusades, offers redemption and forgiveness as the path to salvation. Contrary to many belief systems, Christianity does not judge. Lastly, I would pray that every reader have a joyous Christmas filled with family, love, warmth, and plenty of food. Mostly, chocolate. And if you are alone or lonely as everyone has been at one time or another, even with family surrounding us, know that you are loved. (((hugs))) Louann I pray for everyone with heavy burdens to bear that their cares and worries be lifted.

When I became a Christian I lost a lot of friends. I think people don't understand how beautiful the concept is. As a scientist, I firmly believe that in many ways we create our own reality. Now I ask you, would you really want to come back here? Would you want to reincarnate into an animal? I wouldn't. I prefer to create a reality where forgiveness is available to all,for any reason at any time, no matter what your sin is. If you balk at sin, just call it wrong-doing. It doesn't really matter. 12/27/2013 12:16:40 am
