I spent today working on the Book Fair blog for next week. I'm featuring my books, free downloadable bookmarks, other authors from Crescent Moon Press, and once again, two free e-books of A Shadow of Time and Gemini Rising. I hope to see you there. Lots of authors are participating offering tons of free stuff. This last week has been interesting. After recovering from watching the grandkids for a week I decided to take some down time. That did not work out well. For whatever reason my brain demands that I write. Since I wasn't in the mood to write, I did Facebook messaging with a close friend who acted as my therapist. She has MS and is my hero. I mean I complain about Crohn's, but MS? So then I'm talking to my other friend who has Rheumatoid Arthritis. She started Remicade which is sister, in a way, to what I take, Humira. Only Remicade has to be administered in the hospital. It's like a five hour infusion! I'm only going there if I have too. After my therapy session, I did my draft blog for the book fair so it's ready to go. Now I'm going to work on some interview questions that I have to have done by Friday. Maybe the reason my mood doesn't feel like writing is because I'm writing all over the place. Then there this Facebook thing. Just the other day I had three personas. There's the Gemini Rising page, an author page, and a me page. I prefer just being me. I truly didn't know who I was posting as until I discovered this little tiny thingamajib in the corner that lets you chose who you want to be. Go figure. They moved my brother onto the fast track for Hep C treatment. He had all his blood tests on Monday and they are coming in one at a time. They told him once he reached week 26 of treatment they would know if he has achieved a sustained viral response which means there is no virus in his system. Fingers crossed and praying like crazy that treatment starts soon. My little Allison's second birthday is on Saturday. I can't wait. I plan on eating hot wings and Mexican food---not. Okay, maybe just a little taste. Once again I'd like to introduce you to my friend Lisa Antone-Swifka. She's an artist that I just adore. Plus she can write. Her last two blogs are so heartwarming that I just had to share them. This woman is emotive if there ever were such a definition. Visit her blog here: http://awhimsicalbohemian.typepad.com/ It is worth your time. Once again, thanks to everyone who reads this and a special thanks to those that comment. You are so appreciated. I love hearing from people. Happy reading everyone! *hugs* Comments are closed.
