Into the Future

I put myself on vacation from writing. I thought that adding Prednisone to my arsenal of Crohn's fighting equipment might be a little upsetting so I had a good long talk with myself about vacationing and held myself to it.  

As of yesterday, I was growing cantankerous and well you know... the dreaded brain constipation. The words were in there aching to get out, still I made myself wait one week before doing any kind of writing. What that did was leave my brain free for wandering. And boy did it wander.  

I have a whole new take on book 2 of GEMINI RISING. I won't tell any spoilers here, so you'll just have to wait and see. I am waiting on A SHADOW OF TIME to come back from the 2nd pass by my editor and I finished editing REDEMPTION.  

I have another novel in mind, built upon the grinding rock I found in my son's backyard. My publisher is looking for astrological stories and I'm thinking of making THE GRINDING STONE a featured story in their series, but I've given myself a week before I commit.  

I'm a tweeter and so I've followed the Egyptian story with great enthusiasm. I hope and pray they get a democratic government that will allow them the same freedoms we have as Americans. While we are not a perfect country, it is still the only place in which I'd ever live.  

Here's a heads up to Google for improvising voice tweeting when necessary. It is awesome and wondrous that a public corporation did a head fake on the Egyptian government allowing their citizens to keep in touch.  

Back to work as of today. I'm feeling great and am ready to move on. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a few thoughts with me. As always, it is greatly appreciated.
