According to CBS news today's shooting in Florida is not a terror attack. While the face of it may be true, the experience itself is terrifying.

​The only thing closest to terror I can relate to is when my  husband was stabbed 9 times outside of a convenience store many years ago. It was a case of mistaken identity and was not what one would call a terror attack but I can assure you the experience was terrifying. Those memories are as vivid today as they were when they happened.

​In Florida, the people currently running from the terminals to the tarmack will carry that experience for the rest of their lives. What this experience does to the families that will bury their dead cannot be comprehended or explained unless it is lived. Thank God I have not had that experience.

​I am sending my most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to all those involved. I think I will do something nice for someone today. Someone who won't know it was me. It's the only thing to do to counter the terror in this world. Will you join me?
