Feral--Blood, Guts, and Gore #ya #horror

16-year-old Allie Hilts is at school when the pandemic hits. A research facility has exploded releasing a contagion into the air that turns males into ferocious beasts. With help from a teacher, Allie escapes from school to find her family. She goes home where she witnesses her father kill her mother and discovers her 9-year-old sister Kim.

​Three years later, the two girls live in a settlement where Allie becomes a  killer of the ferals while her sister lives a somewhat protected life within the encampment. But there is a change coming. While the scientists rush to find a cure, the ferals are acting different. If a cure doesn't come soon, Allie will need to act to protect them all.

The ending is NOT predictable and has a twist that I enjoyed.
