Crohn's Chronicles--A Writer's Life Interrupted

Um yeah, It's not like the doc didn't warn me. I'm suppose to be EXTRA careful once the Humira is bumped to once a week injections. After all, the purpose of Humira is to lower your immune system.

Health Question 101:What happens when your immune system is lowered?

Answer: You get sick.

In the middle of the night, Tuesday night, I woke up sicker than a dog with, wait, it's not a cold, it's not a bug bite, it's GASTROENTERITIS. Now I ask you, is life fair?

I haven't done a thing. I can't do a thing except bemoan my fate. And right now, that's what I feel like doing. Moaning. All. The. Time. My husband is ready to throw me out with the trash.
