A Christmas miracle happens when your doctor, God bless her, sends you an email at ten pm on Christmas Eve to let you know your MRI is clear of cancer.
I don't know where that kind of compassion comes from, but I want her to know how awesome she is and how much I appreciate it.
I kept saying I wasn't worried, but when I read her email every muscle in my body relaxed and I slept without moving the entire night. Guess I was a little more concerned than I thought.
I plan on spending the rest of the day with my kids and the grands. We'll eat great food, play with new toys and fall into bed exhausted.
Life doesn't get any better than this.
