The Rainbow Man by Deborah Lamoreaux The cover got me. Imagine, a man crossing the universe just for you, alone, on a Saturday night with nowhere to go. Him--destined to be yours forever... As a freelance photographer, Jadzia has carved out a particularly rewarding career for herself, collecting hundreds of smiles. How could she have ever imagined that his, would never be one of them. ONE MAN... Strong-willed, imposing and intense, Kai comes from a place without smiles, or laughter. Even though Jadzia's expressions of joy are still quite alien to him, he simply can't imagine living, in a world without her... ever again. ONE DESTINY... Against all odds, he crossed the universe to find her. Together they embark on an amazing journey - answering the call to a shared destiny that was written in the stars. And answering the question - Will fate and love be enough... when worlds collide? The Curse of Gremdon by Ciara Knight For smart and sexy you can't beat The Curse of Gremdon. Well written, fast-paced, and a joy to read. There's even more but this is a PG rated site. *grin* In a world where marriage is forbidden, sex is only granted to male warriors, and the outer realm is full of murderous creatures, Arianna fights to protect the life of her only living relative, her brother. Tardon, an elite warrior, is granted anything he desires by the Elders, but finds little joy in the voluptuous women presented to him. Born for the bloodlust found only in battle, complicated emotions emerge when he discovers his equal in the alluring warrior, Arianna. Charged by the Elders with saving the castle from attack, Tardon and Arianna risk the cursewhen they traverse the vast outer realm to retrieve serum from the Tree of Life. If successful, the Elders have promised Tardon the right to marry and Arianna the cure for her brother's death fever. Will their love carry them through or will the discovery of a great deception be their ultimate demise? Ruined by Kinley Baker Aside from having a hot cover, this is one well-written book. I adored this novel. For paranormal fantasy romance, you can't beat it. Jessa is one healing away from death. Under the thrall of her gift, the Court's Senior Healer risks giving her life in exchange for her patient's. Vale is a rebel ruler. When his brother is killed, he's given the throne and the decree from the Court to produce an heir or lose his family's hold on the land--and his deceiving advisors aren't afraid to use murder as a weapon if their directive to stay away from the Senior Healer goes unheeded. But Vale burns to possess Jessa. The heat between them leaves a wake of smoke, and even the powerful forces above want to bind them in a union that lasts forever. Vale taking another would be a betrayal neither could survive. Their enemies fear a child born of such a powerful Healer and Warrior, but the true threat lies in the bond forged in shadows and fused in fire. Medusa, A Love Story by Sasha Summers Right off the bat, Sasha sucked me in. Who knew Medusa was once beautiful? She did her research and pulled off a novel that entrapped me. It's said love can change a person. Medusa wasn't always a monster... Medusa is ruled by duty, to her Titan father and the Goddess Athena. She's no room for the tenderness her warrior guard, Ariston, stirs. When Olympus frees her from service, her heart leads her into the arms of the guard she loves... and curses her as the creature with serpent locks. Ariston goes to war with a full heart... and dreadful foreboding. He learns too late of the danger Medusa faces, alone, and a Persian blade sends him into the Underworld. But death, curses, nor the wrath of the Gods will keep him from returning to her. Poseidon will use Greece's war to get what he wants: Medusa. He does not care that she belongs to another. He does not care that she will be damned. He is a God, an Olympian, and she will be his. Comments are closed.
