Tuesday, I'll be over at Read 2 Review. I hope you'll drop by and say hello, plus you'll have a chance to win a free e-book of my apocalyptic novel, Gemini Rising. I took two of my main characters from Gemini Rising and A Shadow of Time and had them meet up. Check out the blog to see what they had to say to one another. *grin* Before we get to one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Cheryl, let's just say I'm done with rain. I asked permission to run this picture from our local newspaper, The Union. It's just one of many. We live in Lake Wildwood, and both roads in and out were blocked by floods and downed trees. Power was intermittent, but the longest it was off was about 6-8 hours. Just a month ago, we had tornadoes. We never have tornadoes. Guess I can't say that anymore. I've never lived through a hurricane and after last weekend, I'd better not. If I did, you'd find me hiding underground for quite some time. Saturday night the wind was deafening and since we're surrounded by trees, and most of the wind happened at night, it made for one freaky weekend. I'm glad it's done. At least until tomorrow. I can't help but wonder what mother nature has in store for us next. Perhaps some pestilence? Now I'd like to welcome Elizabeth Cheryl, the author of The Summerland.
