It seems like marketing can take up most of your writing time, especially if you keep your blog up-to-date and you get paid to be a journalist. Seriously, when I open my computer my first thought is paid or unpaid? Which is not the way to look at marketing. The idea is to get your book out there so people will buy it. Problem is you only see the cash quarterly.

Ellysian Press is trying to lighten the load on us busy authors by trying out some new marketing tricks, one of which is the Ellysian Facebook group. You get to market your work by answering questions other people ask you which is a great way to get to know one another. Plus you will make friends and see what is going on in the publishing area. I love answering questions and would be so happy to get to know you. I literally leak unicorn happy tears as my granddaughter puts it. Sometimes I think she's right.
