It is super crowded in the ATC today. The flu has taken Nevada County by storm. I admit to being very nervous while waiting for Remicade. The last time I was in here I had staph infections on my hands so they stopped treatment. Now I only have one infection on my finger and they are going ahead with treatment.
My sister-in-law, Karen, is sitting across from me, waiting on her chemo. Both of us have loooowwww blood pressure. Not sure why, but there it is. I had to wait over an hour for my meds to arrive and she is waiting for a blood test they forgot to take yesterday. I love this hospital, but since I've been here they've had a code blue and are swamped with prescription needs hence the wait. I've lost another two pounds since last Thursday. I am struggling to eat foods that don't send me screaming into the bathroom. At this point it is Vanilla Ensure and cloud bread. Not a lot, but I am working on it. So far, all is well. Blood pressure dropped to 90 over 49, but came up on the last to 100/59. I am hopeful this might work! Thanks for stopping by!

Doc said up to 3 months to start working. Hopefully, it will be less. Fingers crossed. :) Comments are closed.
