So has Triberr.
After having my blood pressure drop dangerously low due to dehydration, I'm feeling a little better now that I have fluids in me. Instead of running a no-fever of 97.5, I'm all the way up to 99.5. And my blood pressure is up from 90/56 to 100/69 so there is improvement in that area as well.
Of course, last night I dared to eat some homemade chicken noodle soup. As I was sitting on the john, my hands wrapped around my ankles, screaming to God to just let me die, I realized that I am blessed in that at least this is not happening to me when I am eighteen, or ten, or five.
My cold is better, but I still don't have a date for infusion. Lost another five pounds since last Monday and I'm due to start lowering my Prednisone dose every few days. I have no idea how that is going to affect me. I am so skinny, I don't have one blasted piece of clothing that fits me. Who the hell can lose this much weight this fast?
I know, I know. Who complains about losing weight.
The joys of chronic illness.
My youngest son and his wife and two kids are still living with us until their house is ready which should be another two weeks or so. I will miss them. My daughter-in-law has been an awesome help over the last week. I don't know what I would have done without her.
Still waiting on my first pass for The Light and the Flame, book two of the Gemini series. So, during this time of waiting I've decided to, well, wait. After all, there is nothing I can do. I suppose I could write, but my Muse has decided to take a vacation as well. I will try to work tomorrow, but no guarantees. This place of waiting isn't so bad after all.
Blessings!
