I am thankful for so many things, but most of all I am thankful for my family. While we are far from perfect we do love each other. From my nieces and nephews, to my great and great great nieces and nephews, to my husband, children and grandchildren, my family is my world.
I have also discovered that true friendship can be rekindled on a place such as Facebook. For years I thought you just posted stuff. Then, after a high school reunion, pictures and posts from a variety of people appeared online. From that I reconnected and disconnected from groups of people that I thought were friends to those that are truly non-judgemental and those friends are so dear to my heart. ☺����������
From Crohn's disease I have learned how precious life is. I had some wonderful news on Wednesday in regards to blood levels that while they were still bad, they are far better than what was expected. I spent a week being utterly freaked out only to discover that things sometimes improve on their own.
Today I am off the grandson's high school play off game that I would not miss for the world. I am still deciding how many blankets to take. And coats, and gloves.
