I spent most of the weekend learning about graphic design. Who knew there could be so many fonts? For those of you who do not know, I get the rights back on Gemini Rising and A Shadow of Time at the end of the month so I have to make the decision whether or not to go with another publisher or publish them on my own.
I'm the first person to run scared when it comes to self-publishing. First of all, I do not edit my own work. Second, I know squat about graphic design. But, I can't help thinking, why not do this on my own? I've been in business, I can set up Quickbooks, if I can learn graphic design, I might pull this off.
I am leaning toward listing A Shadow of Time with Majestic Press. That's my new publishing company. And maybe Gemini with someone else. I dunno. I also came up with The Foundlings and I'm thinking of self-publishing those.
In the meantime, shoot me an email PM me on FB or leave me a comment here about your thoughts on the designs above. Go ahead and hurt my feelings. lol I need all the advice I can get.
