Haunting Nathan, Book One of the Haunted Dreams series Ande Connors is killed in a car accident on her way to a Halloween party. Earthbound for thirty years, she is stuck in the home she lived in and she's sick and tired of it. All she wants is to get out now! When her house is rented by Nathan Daniels, she senses her chance. He's cute, likeable, and he can feel her in his dreams. Nathan, working on his thesis about the supernatural is directed to Ande's home by his adviser. Ande's house is known as a hot bed for some major paranormal happenings. Shortly after his arrival, Nathan begins to dream about a young woman. He is drawn to her, mesmerized by her, and yes there is a happily ever after, but I won't reveal it to you. Roberts has some great writing skills. She pulls you into the story and before you know it you are personally attached to her characters. Her style is smooth and flows easily. While YA this is a story anyone can enjoy. I can't wait to read more of the Haunted Dreams series. ![]() First off, I love the way Lillie J. Robert's can yank you into a story that you hate to put down. Soulfire is a read-it-at-one-time kinda book. So, forget the housework, the laundry, the kids, and yeah yeah yeah, I know it's YA but trust me, this is a book anyone can read. There's romance, murder, mayhem, and the paranormal. What else could one want? The only reason I gave it four stars is more of an editing issue than anything else. The story line is terrific. I would also add that Robert's world-building is great and the characters are fleshed out enough so you can leave reality behind and delve into a supernatural world full of well, creepiness. If you're not into young adult or even new adult, surely there is a teenager in your life somewhere who can enjoy a cool romp through the angst of teenage-hood and a love that spans time. | ![]() ![]() Step into the realm of the fairies, where darkness and light come together to create a world full of mischief and magic. A place where pixie dust and brownie favors are often counter balanced by the sinister temptations and mad schemes of the darker side. Here, you can choose to walk with the heroes or be carried away by the fairy lover of your dreams. Just be careful not to fall too deeply, you may never come home. In this collection, ten talented authors have come together to bring you sixteen fantastical stories of the lighter and darker sides of the fae. The product of this collaboration is an incredible journey into a world that will whisk the reader away on gilded wings, but might not let them go. |
Mix a touch of magic with a pinch of danger and stir in a hunky hero, and you have the perfect recipe for a love potion to make you swoon. These eight stories make for a delicious brew of paranormal romance:
- That Magic Mischief: Dumped out of the blue by her boyfriend, Annabelle's hopes of walking down the aisle seem more remote than ever - until the metaphysical takes matters in hand.
- Life After Death: Chelsea's mission is to guide ghosts to the next world, but can Brad save her when it's her turn to die?
- A Matter of Fate: Someone is setting death-spells targeting mortals, so it's up to half-trained Warder Mona Lisa Kubrek to stop the magic, with a little help from a sexy half-elf shifter.
- The Kindred: When it comes to being psychic, Janice Kelly is the best of the best. But she didn't foresee falling in love with Adrian while fleeing the anger of thwarted ghosts in a haunted house.
- The Amulet: In their first life, Jackson Hawthorne was forced to watch as his fiancée was tried, convicted, and hung. Can he stop history from repeating itself?
- Love of Her Lives: Calum and Beth are soul mates who have lived many lives together, lusting, loving, and dying for each other. Their eternal bond is secure—or so Calum thinks—until Beth decides to live a life on her own.
- Immortal Love: Bécquer is handsome, well-read, and . . . an immortal who lives on human blood. Not that it matters since their relationship is strictly business - isn't it?

Lillie J. Roberts is a multi-published, Amazon best-selling author who loves to read as much as she does to write. You can most often find her lost in her favorite genre, whether it be a hardback/paperback or an ebook (or maybe she's writing one), especially on road trips. She writes Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Chillers/Thrillers, Suspense from Modern Contemporary to New Adult and YA.
She lives in central Illinois with her husband, three children, and one wild Westie (who is usually her reading partner, he also listens to all her new story ideas, almost always with a wicked sense of humor). She loves movies and listens to them while she writes, it doesn't matter if they're old or new, as long as they're engaging. She loves all kinds of music, especially if it has a hard driving beat. You'll find some on her favorite artists mentioned in the pages of her books.
