I have way too much time to think.
My go to sentence is, "I can't do this anymore."
To which my daughter responds, "You already are."
Whiskey and music are the things I cling to when I am alone.
No, not really, but it sounds good right?
I can't drink alcohol because for me it's a stimulant. Great for Tahoe not so good for home.
Instead I created an Instagram page for my dog, Professor Higgins. He does book reviews. He's damn smart for a smoothie fox terrier. You can join his Instagram page at: https://www.instagram.com/professor_higgins_book_reviews/ It takes a lot of work to get a page off the ground. I have two followers already. One is my daughter! Go Shannon! So a follow would be nice.
I was bathing in grief on Facebook a day or so ago and someone mentioned that I should start writing again. They actually said I should write our story which is a great story, but I have three books to finish and then, I will write our story. It really is an amazing story with all the stuff like stabbings and what not. Plus love. There is a ton of love in our story and I can't wait to write it.
I am friends with someone who has an amazing amount of courage. She took to Facebook and stated her political beliefs loud and clear and unapologetic. I am so in awe of her courage. I prayed last night and included the prayer that she not be targeted for her beliefs. It's tough having unpopular beliefs. People like to slam us. I kinda shrug and move on. You can't help those who will not help themselves. I don't care what they believe as long as it doesn't hurt my family, my neighborhood and my community.
On January 12, 2020 shortly after Biden nixed fracking and made us energy dependent again, we, meaning our troops, crossed though autonomous territory in Iraq and headed straight into Syria. As a Libertarian I cannot abide our troops in countries other than our own. We don't need the Middle East. We can create our own energy. Yes, fracking is bad but if it gets us through to more energy efficient methods then it is worth it and we won't have to kill people in other countries.
There is no use in explaining my POV because no one wants to hear it. It's all yea yea yea Biden. Does the group of his political appointees look familiar to you? It should. They've been around since the 90s. Not one has ever had an intelligent thought as far as I am concerned. We have been at war with the Middle East for at least that long. Except for the last four years. But yea Biden. We get to play Groundhog day again.
I must have been on the phone when Biden called to get my permission to pick and choose his cabinet. He forgets my e-mail a lot.
That's it, really. All I have to say. Believe and do what you will as long as you do not hurt my family, my neighborhood and my community. It is all good to me. We live in a free country after all.
Autonomous living to all,
Louann
